Compact ABUS 8840C Padlock

The ABUS 88 Series 'PLUS' brass padlocks feature a chrome-plated brass body and a through-hardened Nano-plated steel alloy shackle. These locks are equipped with the ABUS-PLUS disk cylinder, offering resistance to drill, pull, and manipulation attacks. The ball-bearing locking mechanism helps prevent lever and torsion attacks.

The 88RK model, available in 50mm and 55mm sizes, comes with a re-keyable mechanism, allowing the locks to be changed to a new key. Each lock is supplied with 2 PLUS keys and a card, and there are 250,000 key differs available.

The Abus High Security Disc Plus Key Cylinder is a solid brass body with a chrome-plated finish. Each lock is sold individually, keyed differently, and comes with two Abus Plus keys.

The 40mm body provides a 7/8-inch vertical clearance and a 7/8-inch horizontal clearance, with a 9/32-inch shackle diameter. The key-retaining feature ensures that the lock can only be opened with the key, and the key is retained until the lock is secured.
