The 6 steps to set your own combination are: 1. Dial to the current code, pull out the shackle. 2. Turn the shackle 90° counterclockwise to the code setting gap. 3. Press the shackle down until the shackle pin is all the way inside the gap, and hold it until finishing step 4. 4. Turn the shackle another 90° counterclockwise to the code line. 5. Scroll the dials to set your own combination. 6. Turn the shackle back to the code setting gap, lift it up, and then back to the original position.
